‘Samorost 3+’ Is This Week’s New Apple Arcade Release, and It Is Out Now Alongside Big Updates for a Few Games

Amanita Design’s third Apple Arcade release is an App Store Great in the form of Samorost 3+ . Samorost 3 itself released on mobile and PC and it follows a space gnome using the powers of a magic gnome to travel across the cosmos to find its origins. It features nine worlds with their own challenges, creatures, and more. Amanita Design games are fantastic, and you need to play this if you haven’t already, and have an Apple Arcade subscription. As usual, there have been a few notable updates this week as well. Disney Melee Mania has added a new announcer, the holo-champ Lightyear Zurg ahead of the upcoming event, support for an upcoming Wreck-It Ralph! event, a new tutorial, and more. Broken Rules’ Gibbon: Beyond the Trees has gotten a major update bringing in a daily run mode with procedural levels and leaderboards, new logging levels, new backgrounds in the story mode, visual fixes, and more. Zookeeper World is already back with a new update following its major 2.0.0 one. This update adds a new Summer Resort 2022 event with its own rewards and the Rabbit Rope Apple Hunt minigame is now available. MasterChef: Let’s Cook! brings in new weekly recipes and fixes.

The final update is a big one. The Oregon Trail now has Apple Health support letting you bring your real life walks or runs (including wheelchair support) into an in-game journey. Walk The Trail is a new feature in today’s update that requires the Apple Health app and there’s even a new The Oregon Trail: StepTracker Apple Watch app available. I’m still shocked at how well this is supported with each major update. This is definitely one of the best games on the service.
