Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War, the long-awaited return of the iconic fantasy anime, is set to conclude its first cour with a one-hour special!
After Episode 11 premieres on December 20, Episodes 12 and 13 will be combined for a finale airing on December 27.
Based on the final arc of Tite Kubo's original manga, Thousand-Year Blood War will see a resolution to the mystery behind protagonist Ichigo's roots, set against the background of the historic Shinigami and Quincy conflict.
In addition to the original cast members, numerous staff members have returned for the new arc, including Tomohisa Taguchi as director, Kudo Masashi for character design, Shiro Sagisu for music, and Studio Pierrot for animation.
Characters from mobile game Bleach: Brave Souls are also making their anime debut.
Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War premiered on October 11, 2022. It is currently airing in Japan and can be streamed via Hulu in the US.
