Look Back, a one-shot by hit horror manga Chainsaw Man's Tatsuki Fujimoto, is getting an anime film that will hit Japanese theaters on June 28!
Fans can get a glimpse at the anime version of protagonist Fujino with a trailer and teaser visual.
It marks Fujimoto's second work with an anime film adaptation confirmed this year, following the announcement of Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc.
Kiyotaka Oshiyama, an animator who has worked on anime films like Evangelion: 2.0 You Can (Not) Advance and The Wind Rises, will direct, write the script, and create character designs. Studio Durian will animate the film.
Originally released in July 2021, the one-shot manga follows Fujino and Kyomoto, two talented artists whose paths intertwine but must eventually diverge.
Look Back's anime film adaptation will be released in Japanese theaters on June 28, 2024.
