Capcom has pushed out another update for its digital museum website Capcom Town which was launched to celebrate the publisher’s 40th anniversary. Originally featuring five playable retro games, it has since been updated to bring in even more with the likes of Breath of Fire, Ghosts’N Goblins, and more. Today, Capcom has updated it with three more games and a survey on the site. The Capcom Town website also features hubs for different franchises in addition to retro games. You can also play the English or Japanese versions of the games using the link above:
New games added to Capcom Town in February 2024:
- Breath of Fire II
- Captain Commando
- Final Fight 2
Existing games in Capcom Town:
- Breath of Fire
- Ghosts’N Goblins
- Super Ghouls’N Ghosts
- Street Fighter II
- Final Fight
- Mega Man
- Mega Man II
- Mega Man X
If you’ve not tried this yet, the interface is as shown in my screenshot above. There are quite a few ways to play these games across platforms, but it is good to see Capcom continue to build on its 40th anniversary celebration website. Make sure to also request some games from Capcom’s existing IP on the survey on the website. Also I specified that I want more Ace Attorney and less Dino Crisis (Hi Jaw) for merchandise as well as ports and remasters. You can also experience some of Capcom’s history through franchises like Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, Devil May Cry, and more on the site. What is your favorite Capcom game and will you be trying any of the retro games added today?
