Each and every day new mobile games are hitting the App Store, and so each week we put together a big old list of all the best new releases of the past seven days. Back in the day the App Store would showcase the same games for a week, and then refresh those features each Thursday. Because of that developers got into the habit of releasing their games throughout Wednesday or very early Thursday in order to hopefully get one of those coveted features spots. Nowadays the App Store refreshes constantly, so the need for everyone to release all on the same day has diminished. Still, we’ve kept our weekly Wednesday night format as for years that’s the time people knew to check TouchArcade for the list of new games. And so without further ado please check out the full list of this week’s new games below, and let us know in the comments section which games you’ll be picking up!

A great deity created the world named Engardin, leaving four goliaths before her departure. The Goliaths abided by their different divine callings and upheld the order and flow of this world. Hence, the lives in Engardin reincarnated and multiplied.
Humans were the last creation, and their ever-expanding ambitions led to a protracted war against the Goliaths. Engardin was engulfed in flames, until a huge explosion known as “The Razing" devastated the Holy Grounds of mankind and brought a swift end to the conflict. Twinworld Survivor ($2.99)
iTunes Description
In this profit-driven era, we found ourselves entangled in the swamp of commercialized gaming. However, as time passed, we realized it wasn’t what we truly desired. Pay-to-win games, the incredibly difficult designs forced for payments, and the seemingly futile efforts in the eyes of whale players… Can these truly bring joy to players? The clear answer is no.
After much contemplation, we decided to veer away from the wrong path. Thus, this anti-“pay-to-win" game was born at this moment. We transformed in-app purchases into the gaming experience. Players unlock features and all the game content that usually requires payment by cracking the game with the hacker, defeating the coercive power of the “pay-to-win" boss, and ultimately helping the game dev realize the meaning of true game design.
